We are amazed by the number of people who consistently want to hire this guy! A look at his track record provides nothing to suggest he will be successful at USC yet they rushed to hire him when any number of more qualified coaches would have loved the job.
This guy did nothing with the Oakland Raiders, has potentially put Tennessee on the NCAA 'death bed' with numerous rules violations and now is headed to USC. It doesn't take long for a coach to seriously damage a program. We remember the Foge Fazio era at Pitt. Foge got the job because he 'was a good Pitt guy' and his era led to several decades of frustration and losing at Pitt.
We can see a similar thing happening at USC. This under qualified pretty boy could unravel all that Pete Carrol has built and do it quickly.
